Today was a wet and miserable day but members got together to perform maintenance to swims to make them more fishable, remove dead trees and potential snags. Members were rewarded with hot drinks, bacon rolls and as many toasted marshmallows as they could eat. Swims 1-6 were cleared with many trees cut back, opening up fish holding areas and making casting easier. Swims 21 to 30 were also cleared up with lots of dead foliage and litter removed. Everyone was pleased with the results after a hard day and we hope to see you at the lake soon.
